Pertanto è necessario un accesso rapido ad un flacone lavaocchi. Soprattutto in caso di incidenti a causa di sostanza acide e basiche, l'irritazione dell'occhio inizia già nel momento in cui la sostanza dannosa entra a contatto con l'occhio. Il tempo è un fattore importante anche in caso di danni di natura meccanica ad es. schegge di metallo e di legno, sporcizia o polvere. In tal caso è possibile evitare che corpi estranei penetrino nell'occhio. Pertanto i flaconi / le stazioni devono essere conservate quanto più vicine alla postazione di lavoro per garantire un accesso rapido.<br>Piano di emergenza in caso di penetrazione di corpi esterni negli occhi:<br>Lavaggio raccomandato: soluzione salina NaCl, durata del lavaggio ca. 5 min.<br>in caso di danni causati da acidi:<br>Lavaggio raccomandato: soluzione a pH neutro, durata del lavaggio ca. 2 min.<br>in caso di danni causati da basi:<br>Lavaggio raccomandato: soluzione a pH neutro, durata del lavaggio ca. 2 min.<br>Si raccomanda vivamente: Dopo l'applicazione della soluzione a pH neutro lavare gli occhi a fondo e con regolarità con soluzione salina NaCl fino al trattamento medico!
